Magic Meals Website Upgrades

Orders from this week’s menu are due Monday February 12 by 5 PM for meal delivery in Topeka and Lawrence Kansas on Monday February 19.

We have been busy during this week out of the kitchen!

The most obvious fruits of our labor will be found on the MealsLikeMagic.com website where we added features that we hope you will find valuable.

First, you’ll now see buttons above the current menu that filter the meals into categories.  Now, if you want to see only the meals that can are (or can be modified to be) friendly for Weight Loss, Primal / Keto, Gluten Free, or Diabetic / Heart Healthy, you are just one click away from those lists.  We have also included a better description of each of those categories on their respective pages.

Another big change comes for those of you who have been considering trying Magic Meals but have been deterred by the minimum order.  We now offer a “Trial Sized” minimum order.  Our normal minimum order remains $100 + delivery and sales tax.  However, for first-time orders only, the minimum order is now only $50 + delivery and sales tax.  While it wouldn’t be possible for us to maintain our family business with such a low minimum order for all orders, we hope that this trial-sized minimum order encourages new people to try Magic Meals.  The vast majority who try our meals once remain clients and friends for years!

Next you will find the beginning of a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on our website.  This section of our website will grow over time, and we hope you find it helpful as it gets filled out.  Even now, it has many of the questions that we answer daily.

We have also done a lot of work on our marketing.  While most of our new clients come from the recommendations of long-term clients, new people find us online every week.   It’s likely that many of you will see more Magic Meals’ menus when you are online now.  If they remind you to order, YEAH!  On the other hand, if you are regular client, please don’t click on those ads!  They cost us each time someone clicks.  <grin>

We’ve also added a page of testimonials on our website.  We think they are really nice; what do you think?

Be sure to let us know if you see any problems with the website.  We appreciate your help and support.

The kids had a couple of days off school this week for parent/teacher conferences, so we took them and some friends to Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City.  Nothing like some great indoor waterpark family fun when it’s so cold outside!
